PASSPLUSis a training scheme for new drivers. It's much more than just a few extra lessons as it provides the additional driver training for newly
qualified drivers to give you more advanced driver training. This course has been specially designed by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) with the help of insurers and the driving instruction industry, to help you gain valuable driving experience safely. You will be taught how to deal with a wide range of road and traffic situations, many of which you probably won't have faced before and build on your existing skills and knowledge. This will help you to become a safer driver. You can complete this course any time within a 12 month period of successfully passing your test. A minimum of six hourly lessons are required to complete the training. Once you have successfully completed the course the DSA will send you a certificate, which you should present to your Insurance Company to obtain the appropriate discounts. PASS PLUSconsists of six practical modules which cover:

• Driving Out of Town
• Night Driving
• Driving on Dual Carriageways
• Driving on Motorways
